Working with the wet separation technology for plastic waste is very beneficial for you. The TLT wet separation technology shows convincing economic results and with a floor- requirement of only 15 m² is it also very space-saving. Our wet separation technology can easily be integrated into existing swim-sink systems.
But how does the wet separation technology work actually? The pre-purified flake is mixed with water or another fluid with defined density in a suspension-cylinder. Because of the specialised TLT stirring technique and the adequate dimensions of the suspension cylinder the material within the cylinder begins to thin out.
After this the wet separation technology goes on. The fluid suspension is pumped into the separation-cylinder. The turbulent-flow is converted in a constant laminar-flow. Then the material is separated according to its specific gravity. The wet separation technology does this in relation to density of the separation-medium.
In the medium water the light-fraction (PP, PE) discharges at the top and the heavy-fraction (barrier-material, PET, PVC) discharges at the bottom. After successfully separating the materials with the wet separation technology they are conveyed to a screen drainage where the plastic and the fluid are parted. Finally the fluid of the wet separation technology is re-pumped in the suspension-cylinder.
Wet Separating Technology is fast and effective. It separates your plastic waste very accurately. All the individual steps of the wet separation technology are described on our homepage at the technical center. If you still have questions about the wet separation technology just call us.
