How does TLT wet separation technology work?
Our TLT separation technology works with water/fluids and the difference in density of mixed plastic waste. Post consumer PE, plastic bottles, PP and PVC are crushed to small pieces and mixed with water or our special fluid. According to their density the pieces sink to the bottom of the separation cylinder or swim on top of the fluid. Then they are filtered and sorted out.
Why was it impossible to do this before?
The density of PP, PE, PVC and other plastic waste is very similar. Traditional methods weren’t able to differ between these small variations. TLT developed a special technology, which uses water and the movement of the pieces to separate them. Now a waste separation on the basis of density is possible.
What kind of machines do you have?
Our recycling plants are used in different applications. We’ve got machines for the recycling of mixed plastics from household, Industry and Commercial. Other plants are can be used for bottle separation or the recovery of cable plastics. Furthermore you will find recycling machines for mixed foils, PVC recovery and for the separation of PET, PP, PA, PVC and PE.
How can I get further information about your separation plants?
Whether it concerns the separation of PE, the recycling of plastic bottles or the density of PP, any information about TLT recycling and separation machines can be found on our homepage. If you need information about PE, PET, PP and PVC click on them.
